Sentry Select to snap up Waterfall
The big continue to get bigger in Canadian money management, with $6-billion Sentry Select Capital Corp. expected to announce the acquisition today of hedge fund Waterfall Investments Inc.The purchase will add a family of four hedge funds, all with strong performance in the four years since they were founded, to Sentry Select's increasingly diverse lineup of mutual funds, resource-focused flow-through offerings and principal protected notes.
