STOCKS AROUND THE WORLD THIS WEEK
FRANCE: Not even a sharp rebound yesterday thanks to the financials and more moderate oil prices prevented the CAC 40 index from declining almost 1.2 per cent this week. Stocks falling during the week included Air France-KLM Group and telecommunications equipment manufacturer Alcatel-Lucent SA, down 7.6 per cent and 7.3 per cent respectively.
