U.S. slowdown cutting deeply into Canadian exports

Toronto The slowdown in the United States is dragging on longer than expected, cutting deeply into Canada's exports, the Bank of Canada said Thursday in its semi-annual outlook.
But at the same time, inflation is heating up in Canada, driven by food and energy prices, and capacity restraints in services, the bank says.
