Canadian Tire sees profit ahead from deal with dealers
On top of whatever other growth it enjoys, Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. expects to boost annual pretax profit on its general merchandise business by up to $150-million, or 50 per cent, over the next seven years as the result of a new agreement with its dealers and an expansion drive in auto parts.
