Could Japan be this year's Eastern Europe?

The Japanese stock market has disappointed many investors over the past several years, but fund manager George Greig thinks this year might be different.Japan's external sector is "doing very well," said the portfolio manager with Chicago-based William Blair & Co. LLC. And the profit picture for corporate Japan "is very strong, too," added Mr. Greig, who is part of a team that runs the GBC International Growth Fund.
