Canadian initial public offerings on London's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) fell by almost half in 2007 as market turmoil kept potential new issuers away."There were major swings in the equity markets given the global credit crunch as well as some economic indicators of a possible recession," said Ari Sahakian, a director with PricewaterhouseCooper's transaction advisory group in Toronto.
