Brazil's market on the rise
Thanks to strong commodity prices and a robust economy, Brazil has moved smartly up the list of the world's largest stock markets. Last June, it was poised to join a very select club - those global markets whose capitalization is at least $1-trillion (U.S.).
Now, it has not only joined the club; it has moved up smartly in the ranks. It is the ninth biggest market, just one spot below Canada.
