Angiotech gets FDA go-ahead to market vein catheter
The Canadian Press
Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. said Thursday it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market its 5-Fluorouracil-coated central venous catheter in the United States.
The device, also known as 5-FU CVC, is the first to be completely researched and developed in-house by the Vancouver company.
