Air Canada to charge for second checked bag on some flights
The Canadian Press
MONTREAL Air Canada announced plans Friday to charge its lowest-fare customers $25 for second checked bags on North American flights as part of an effort to combat rising fuel costs.
The new charge will start July 15 for passengers who purchase Tango and Tango Plus tickets.
Customers can still receive a discount when travelling without checked luggage.
