New Wal-Mart Canada chief does it the British way
MISSISSAUGA — David Cheesewright has headed Wal-Mart Canada Corp. for just four months and already he's introduced some of the cost savings he picked up in his years at the retailer's British arm.
In the produce section of Wal-Mart's new super centres, the company has started to display its fruits and vegetables in the same boxes in which they arrived.
