Morgan Stanley to sell half its MSCI shares

NEW YORK Morgan Stanley Wednesday said it intends to sell half its shares in investment analysis and market index firm MSCI Inc., a stake currently worth about $898-million (U.S.).
The second-largest investment bank said it will file a registration statement for the sale of half its 53 million class-A shares.
