Economy not in danger from U.S., Flaherty says
CALGARY — Canada's economy is the envy of the world and is not about to fall victim to the volatile financial markets or follow the United States into economic turmoil, federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said Wednesday.
Speaking to business leaders in Calgary, Mr. Flaherty said that while Canada has not experienced the “bubble” that has plagued the U.S.
