Labopharm loss narrows

LAVAL, Que. Drug developer Labopharm Inc. reported Friday a second-quarter net loss of $10.1-million, narrowed from a year-ago $11-million
The loss amounted to 18 cents per share, compared with 19 cents per share in the second quarter of fiscal 2007.
Total revenue declined to $4.9-million from $5.9-million in the prior-year quarter.
Revenue from product sales was $3.9-million, versus $4.
