Alarm bells sounded over labour in Quebec

Canada's employment boom may have stalled, but a national demographic squeeze on labour pools is looming – and nowhere more than in Quebec. The alarm bell was sounded in a Desjardins Group study Wednesday, which found even boosting the province's birth rate and immigration levels won't compensate for the tidal wave of retiring workers.
