Wi-Lan agrees to drop Texas Instruments challenge
The Canadian Press
OTTAWA Wi-Lan Inc. has agreed to drop its patent challenge against semiconductor giant Texas Instruments Inc., at least for now, but may again take the Texas company to court or seek payments from it.
Ottawa-based Wi-Lan gets its revenues from royalties paid on patents in its portfolio.
