OSC fines Duic for breaching order

TORONTO The Ontario Securities Commission has ordered Daniel Duic to pay $40,000 after he breached the terms of an agreement that prohibited him from trading shares in Ontario.
Mr. Duic, who was the star witness at the 2005 trial of former RBC Dominion Securities Inc. investment banker Andrew Rankin, apologized yesterday through his lawyer for his accidental breach of a 2004 commission order.
