Kroger Co. releases second-quarter results. A share profit of 41 cents (U.S.) is expected, up from 38 cents last year.
The U.S. Federal Reserve Board reports on industrial production and capacity utilization in August. Industrial production is forecast to fall 0.3 per cent, and a capacity utilization rate of 79.6 per cent is expected.
