Olympic lessons for marketers - no matter your budget

There's no question that the Beijing Olympics were a massive event. Worldwide, 4.7 billion people tuned their TVs to the Games, according to Nielsen monitoring. In Canada, the CBC's numbers show that more than 24 million viewers watched coverage of the Beijing Olympics on CBC programs. While, online, Canadians viewed 3.2 million CBC live streams, 1.7 on-demand streams and more than 46 million page views.
