Palin's glasses boost designer's fortunes

TOKYO — Kazuo Kawasaki, the Japanese designer of Sarah Palin's glasses, is grateful to the Republican vice-presidential candidate for making his product famous, but says there is also a lot he likes about Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama. “She is very good-looking. She would look good in any glasses,” Mr. Kawasaki said Wednesday of Palin at a Tokyo store operated by Masunaga Optical Manufacturing Co.
