MDA shares fall after warning

RICHMOND, B.C. — Shares in Vancouver-area satellite data company MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. tumbled almost 10 per cent in early trading Thursday after the company warned its third-quarter earnings will be lower due to the housing and lending environment in the United Kingdom.
The company, also known as MDA, fell $2.68 to $24.75, in trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
