In the global war for talent, Deloitte's CEO, Jim Quigley, is on the front line of the action. His global accounting and consulting firm has been hiring 10,000 people a year in the U.S. alone, and he reckons that on a global basis, the figure may be closer to 25,000. “Many companies come to the conclusion that the only real limitation on their growth is their ability to continue to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent,” he told me earlier this year.
