Private equity firms pull out of Angiotech restructuring

VANCOUVER — Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc. says private equity firms Ares Management and New Leaf Venture Partners have pulled out of a plan to invest $200-million to $300-million in a restructuring of the Canadian medical device maker.
